Deadlines

OU Financial Aid Services imposes specific recommended deadlines in order to process financial aid applications in a timely manner. All students are strongly encouraged to abide by the recommended deadlines.

Late applications take longer to process and will have fewer awards available as aid is awarded on a first come, first serve, file complete basis.


2008-2009 Recommended Financial Aid Deadlines

January 1, 2008
Apply on the FAFSA as soon as possible after this date for consideration for all aid programs for 2008-2009.

March 1, 2008
Recommended for priority application processing and scholarships.

June 1, 2008
File must be complete at OU Financial Aid Services to be eligible for early disbursement of Fall 2008 funds.

November 1, 2008
File must be complete at OU Financial Aid Services to be eligible for early disbursement of Spring 2009 funds.

April 1, 2009
Apply for summer financial aid by this date. For summer application information type SUMMER in the Ask the Sooners search.

2007-2008 Recommended Financial Aid Deadlines

January 1, 2007
